The freshmen will be taking a trip to New York City while the sophomores will be hitting the slopes in the Swiss Alps. Juniors will be taking a well-deserved break in Mexico and the seniors will be at one of the happiest place on Earth, Disneyworld!

On Monday, love will be in the air as the Freshmen take Cupertino into an original Class of 2011 Romance…

On Tuesday, the Sophomores will be pulling out their detective kits and using their wits to solve a Class of 2010 Mystery…

On Wednesday, the Juniors will have us tapping our toes to the beat of an original Class of 2009 Musical…

On Thursday, the Seniors will be duking it out in the Class of 2008 Horror that will have us clinging to the edge of our seats…

And on Friday, we’ll have the Homecoming Rally, the Carnival at lunch, the game against Monta Vista with an amazing Half-Time Show featuring Cupertino Marching Band and Colorguard! Also, we will see this year’s Homecoming Court and afterwards be able to attend the Dance!

You won’t want to miss all the love, mystery, music and horror this week as Cupertino gets Caught on Genre… so come to the Quad everyday during brunch, cheer for your class, show some spirit, and enjoy yourselves. 

On Friday during lunch, come out to the quad to buy your ticket for the Homecoming dance early and skip the line! The prices are $5 with an ASB card and $8 without!

There’s more fun coming our way…

Last Friday, we found out all the class nominees for homecoming princes and princesses. This Wednesday and Thursday come out to the quad and vote for who you think should be on the Homecoming Court.

Also this Friday, September 28th, is the Fall Sport Rally!

BOYS VS. GIRLS in a BATTLE OF THE SEXES!

Who will win? Come to the Rally, cheer like you’ve never cheered before and find out, Friday in the gym!

Hey there fellow CHS students!

The first two weeks of the 2007-2008 year are over and now we are on to our third week of school.

Let’s recap the chaos of the first week of school.

The seniors of ‘08 began the first day of school with a Godly welcome as they brought Ancient Greece and the Olympians to Cupertino. And, of course, they didn’t miss out on the chance to dress up in togas and the like.

The Class of 2011 began their first day as freshman in high school and we hope it was a day they’ll never forget.

Don’t forget about all the hubbub of change mill on Wednesday. Oh, what a long line.

But Friday came around and we kicked off the year with the Welcome Back rally, our first rally of the year. All the classes brought a medley of summer blockbusters to CHS. We had the seniors with The Simpsons, the juniors with Hairspray, the sophomores with Transformers, and the freshmen with Ratatouille.

After a week of painting, decorating, and all that cheering, the sophomores came out first, followed closely by the seniors, the juniors, and then the freshmen. Congrats to the Class of 2010!

With the first week over, labor day weekend gone, the second week of school began, but the fun wasn’t over yet. Cupertino High School’s first dance of the 2007-2008 year was held on Friday, September 7th. People crowded under the big city lights at the Welcome Back Dance, enjoying the music, the decorations, and the beautifully painted mural.
